Why I Support Savers

I am 39 years old, and my story is probably not unique.  I had a normal middle class upbringing, however at age 30 I lost sight of my goals and dreams.  I made choices which hurt myself and my family.  After losing my personal belongings, relationship with my family and my dream of becoming a Doctor, I had an opportunity to start again. Today, I work for a treatment facility with assists clients with chemical dependency, eatting disorders and mental health issues.  My goal is to attend graduate school for my master's degree in counseling.  I have horrible credit and currently I am ineligible for student loans. I have a huge outstanding debt for my first go-around with graduate school.  Today I live a modest life, and I have lowered my expectations to an achievable level.  I am eager to share my story with other people who have traveled down the same path as me, and also to coach others who might be at a crossroad in their life.  Thank You
